The Return of the Swindon Stuff

All our Swindon stuff came out of storage yesterday. Nice to see some of the things we’d forgotton about – I wish I’d thrown more stuff away though!
The Ken Bloomfield lorry arrived a bit later than originally planned but the company had kept us informed and even rang to let us know it would be with us in the next half an hour. Everything arrived, (with no breakages) apart from a set of steps and long extension ladder, those have now been found and will be delivered next Monday along with the rest of our stuff from the Cowes flat.

How very, very weird. This exact same thing happened to us … neither the step ladder or long extension ladder turned up when we move.
I wonder if this is normal?
I think it probably is quite common as they told me “This is always happening”.
It seems that details of ladders etc are kept in another file and the cross referencing between the container stuff and anything “loose” is not, perhaps, all it should be.
Nice to be that bit closer to Ventnor, already had a few in the Volunteer!
