What’s in a name?
Got an email the other day asking me to visit Meon Valley golf course in Hamphire. Nothing particulary strange in that I suppose; it was just that the sender was called Brian Curd!
He suggested the meet in order to confuse his usual playing partners – success guaranteed I suspect.
Anyhow, Brian also suggested that a Curd golf tournament might be a good idea and I agreed. We haven’t decided on a date yet, or a location come to that but, as Brian is based at Meon valley and it’s his idea really, I think that’s a good venue.
