The last year has probably passed by faster than any I have known. Yes, we’ve been busy and there have been a lot of changes but for goodness sake….

It only seems a few weeks ago that we were preparing for a move out of Swindon and looking forward to our first Christmas on the Island. Now, at the end of October, we can’t switch on the TV without tacky adverts for Christmas sofas (?) and the ability to purchase the true Christmas message from our local Argos store!

Today, marks my 51st birthday (and Lynn’s, back in Swindon – Happy Birthday Lynn), and it’s true when they say; the days and weeks do go by more quickly as you get older.

The scary bit is that they’re going to whizz by even faster from now on!
