New Phone
I bit the bullet the other day, and after about 3 months of putting up with an old Nokia phone, I bought a nice shiny Sony 610 on Ebay. I made the decision after visiting Carphone Warehouse and being treated to their obscure pricing regime. It seems they think that an advert for a new phone at a price of £59.99 actually means that phone costs £89.99 “on the road”. I got so annoyed with the constant hard sell and this very shabby pricing policy that I walked out.
A quick search on Ebay showed I could easily get the same phone for less, and I eventually bought the unlocked Sony for £40 (+£4 p&p). I never liked the Nokia and both Garan and Matt have had the Sony for a while and only give good reports. So far it seems I have made a good choice and, once again, Ebay has come up trumps.
