Google Earth

If you have an interest in mapping or spectacular aerial photos, take a look here, it’s a link to the latest software from Google and is a continuously zoomable image of the world – it’s a fairly big download.
I am lucky in that the part of Swindon of interest to me is a Hires area and it’s good enough to make out an individual house – very, very impressive assuming you have broadband and a reasonably decent PC.
Update: I noticed a few minutes ago that the download seems very popular. Either that or Google are playing a very cautious game and are protecting their servers. You may have to wait a day or two before being able to download the client software. Stick with it as it really is worth the wait.
