I have to say that I am not one for group grieving and public outpourings of sympathy, I believe that grief is something private and very, very, personal. Having said that, from the midst of the touchy feely stuff, a group of people seem to have come up with an excellent idea which simultaeneously helps both the victims of tragedy and the emergency services.
It’s very simple, just get hold of your mobile, add a new contact with the title ICE (In Case of Emergency), and then add the phone number of the person who should be contacted if you are in trouble. There are more details here.
