Test post using the MacBook

When I last tried posting to WordPress from this MacBook, everything appeared as one long sentence and I had to drop the WYSIWYG interface and edit the HTML source for the post in order to make the thing readable. Hardly the best way to blog. The spec for v2.5.1 suggestes that the problem has been sorted.

Hopefully this sentence will be the first in a new paragraph - I hope so as the Mac is very quickly becoming my machine of choice. The other major feature added to this new version is the photo gallery option. Hopefully this will be easy to understand and use. I’ll try it now by adding three pics below this paragraph:

Mmmm, I think I’ll have to play with that feature as I really don’t like the way the aspect ratio of the pics has been mangled Sorted that problem having found the thumbnail scaling options are, by default set to square images and not to proportional. Anyhow the way it works is quite nice. What is a pain is that there is no way to change the scaling after the pics have been imported - they have to be deleted then imported again! Still not really a true gallery facility.
