A few pictures
OK, it seems I can upload things reasonably easily from here, the small problem is one of file size. Unfortunately I don’t have any means of sensibly resizing pictures so everything I have put up is BIG. If you are on a dial-up net connection, I shouldn’t bother with them.
Anyhow, if you are interested in seeing some odd pictures of life in and around Chennai (Madras), the pics can be found at www.briancurd.com/files/India Photos 01, all the files are named sequentially starting at IMG_0001.jpg running through to about IMG_0044.jpg.

The first bunch of pics show Tim and Dennie’s place about a couple of miles from the city centre – that’s where we are staying. Then there are some of today’s (Tuesday) outing into the city and on to a little oasis in the madness called Amethyst, where we had lunch.
There may be a few in the sequence missing, don’t despair, incerment the number on the end and try again……
The sun is now coming down, the Kingfisher’s are cooling nicely, so it’s time for a shower and a walk to the boat club for a few wetties!
