I have never had an ADSL broadband connection. In Swindon I used the generally very reliable and fast ntl cable service and when we moved to the Isle of Wight, we signed up with Wightcable for their similar offering (well, at least the speed bit!).

The recent loss of database tables not only damaged this site, but also had a catastrophic effect on a Xoops site I had built. I had the necessary backups to restore things – or so I thought!
